The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society has a website which has a list of their branches. The next port of call should be Ian Brockbank's Grand Chain website, which has links to most things in this field. Some local groups include Bedfordshire and Cambridge. London has a large and active branch with an informative website and addresses of many branches in the South of England.
For the North of England, Leeds, Liverpool, and Sheffield also have sites. For Scotland itself try Stirling, Glasgow, or Aurora. There are many clubs in Edinburgh, for a list of these see Ian Brockbank's site.
In Oxford there is a University Scottish Country Dance Club, also taught by Helen Houghton-Carr; they have a web site here. Just to the south of us, there is the St. Andrew's Scottish Dancing Society in Reading.
If you have an event, and want some fine dancers to perform for you, there is the Corryvrechan Scottish Dance Display Team.
Kilts, tartans and highland dress can be supplied by Kinloch Anderson in Leith, Edinburgh. They have an online shopping facility, or you can order by telephone or email.
